The time to hire a new full time employee is upon me. I have two great employees right now but their lives are growing and changing and one will certainly be leaving for new exciting life adventures within the next couple of months.
Before I place the ad, I am going to do some focusing on what I want from this employee so the universe knows what to bring me. With my first hire, I couldn’t have hoped for a better person.
She came in a time of upheaval and helps us keep the business flowing. I know I WANT that again. I want the perfect combination of the two I currently have.
My Perfect Employee:
- Eager to do all aspects of the business - product prep, clerical, order processing, customer service, business accounting.
- Has experience with Quickbooks and our credit card processing software.
- Comfortable talking about indepth female and male fertility related issues.
- Is someone I feel comfortable running the company so I can take a vacation with confidence.
- Has ecommerce experience.
- Wants to see the business grow and eager to do what it takes to make it happen.
- Is able to learn quickly and has a great memory.
- Is friendly, calm and confident.
- Pays great attention to detail.
- Is reliable and trustworthy.
- Is eager to learn about our business.
- Doesn’t mind working in a small office - usually one or two other people in the office.
- A knowledge of LOA would be awesome.
- Can work 10 to 6 Monday through Friday.
- Comfortable and knowledgable with using computers and the internet.
- Comfortable answering customer support emails and phone calls.
- Is extremely healthy.
- Is happy with the salary being offered.
- Is able to give her full attention to the job with limited potential outside distractions.
- Is a non-smoker.
Hmmm, that seems like it covers it. I may do a bit of tweaking but that is definitely the essence of the perfect employee for our company. Ah! That felt good!
Okay Universe, you heard me, now steer the perfect person my way. I KNOW I will find the perfect employee!
