Vickie,
That's a lot of work, but I can see how much you gain from transcribing it. And your work brings great insight to others; I greatly appreciate that you're so willing to share. :)

:) Thanks for the compliment Barb. I am just feeling my way through it all like everyone else. LOL I am hoping my stumbling is helpful for others to see. You don't have to get it perfect. Just pick yourself up and move forward when you can (I am working on that part right now!).

I get the full workshop subscription so I do find nice quotes there. I grab the audio and then transcribe them from there. It does take a while, but I gain more understanding was I transcribe them. So it is a win/win situation :)

Vickie,
I agree with everyone here and I think Lyman put it as I would have. You are THE blogger that I think of when I think of those who distill Abe-Hicks information well, or who so aptly apply their teachings to life. I'm often amazed at how much you know of their teachings and always amazed at how you get their quotes. Do you transcribe it all yourself? That must take so much time!!

Thank you all for your wonderful comments. :) As usual, they are particularly heart warming to me.

It is good to see that people *are* getting what I hoped for them to get from my blog. I don't claim to be an expert in anything, but I have no problem sharing how I feel about my life :D I am always reaching for a better feeling thought because, honestly, feeling crappy is pretty sucky! Abraham's teachings really ring true for me and I am hoping that if people see that I am just a regular Jane and not some woo woo out there person, they may be open to giving Abraham a chance. Just stay away from early Abraham stuff because Esther sounds like a normal person in her more recent stuff. Even the Free CD that they offer has some of the funky sounding stuff on it. Thanks again :) You all are amazingly wonderful people.

Vickie

PS Melba, you don't have to worry about me getting upset and throwing a wobbly at any of my commentors. As long as people are respectful with their opinions I am all for them even if they are different than mine. If people are rude, well, that's what the delete comment key is for :D

I'd pretty much agree with what's been said so far, Vickie - real world application of the Abraham-Hicks principles. I've said it before, and I'll say it again... you are the reason I was finally able to accept the teachings, and my life hasn't been the same since.

Thank you.

What Wren said :-)

It's the personal translation of the Abe principles, the sharing of what rings true for you that personifies the "shine" in my mantra of reach, dabble, shine - so that others can find their way.

Hi!
I have been reading noew for over a month...I found your blog when searching for posts about Abraham-Hicks.
I keep reading it because I like how you share your journey. I like hearing how you apply the teachings of Abraham in a very real way (not just pie in the sky)

There is a blogger I (use to)read that I find entertaining. We became a little bit of email friends, but many times she would "yell at" her commentors (including me) if we misinterpreted something she said. I stopped commenting and now rarely ever read her and we don't email. I still get intrigued when I see her link somewhere (which is often) and sometimes I check in.
the thing is Everything is a matter of perspective. the opinion that counts the most is your own.
I use to get a bit defensive too if I thought someone didn't "get me" but now I write for me, to express myself and make connections when possible.
Take care!

Love!

That's what it is about. Spreading love through the very poignant, incredibly personal and always inspirational tale of your journey through the outer into the inner. Huh?

I mean that you show us your true life, your inner self in all its radiance and we get to realize that we are the perfect soul right now, just as you are. Your journey mirrors ours; we, too, are learning to love ourselves and your spirit helps to guide us there. When I feel the absolute wonder of your soul shining through, I feel mine shining through, since we're one.

Oh, and you write about your very valuable Abe insights and how you've used them. But mostly we love you so we like to read about you and see new pictures...

Now, I generally like to keep these things brief but were I actually filling up a blog, I'd go on so I'll go on as if I were.

Lots of people write about Abe, put Abe posts and ideas and processes on the web. (Good things happen to me and many others). Many people pour love, wisdom and their most beautiful souls into their blogs (Jennifer Jones at goodnessgraciousness.blogspot.com or heavenletters.org with the wondrous Gloria Wendroff). And I go to them every day if I'm not subscribed.

And yet I still love to Contemplate This with you. You shine like a star, you're alive, you fly up and you sink down, you laugh, you cry, you look great with pigeons on your head, you make me want to hug you and to laugh with you. And as I love you, I love me.

So, the real answer is not in your well arranged and nicely set up blog. It's not in the great Abe messages and your ability to give insights as to what you've gleaned. It's not even in the way you have dealt with 'normal' problems or situations in your life. Not even in your daily lessons that so often mirror ours. Nope, it's you and your light and your love we come for and that's all I have to say about that.

Love (imagine that)
