“I Love…” – An Exercise in Appreciation

December 1st, 2007

Abraham has many quotes about focusing on and appreciating the things in your life. In doing so, you raise your vibration and law of attraction will bring you more things that match that positive, appreciation filled vibe that you have going on. I would think that spending even 5 minutes a day focusing on the things that you appreciate would make a dramatic difference in your experience.

Let your dominant intent be…

Let your dominant intent be to feel good which means be playful, have fun, laugh often, look for reasons to appreciate and practice the art of appreciation. And as you practice it, the Universe, who has been watching you practice, will give you constant opportunities to express it. So that your life just gets better and better and better.

Milk every moment for all the pleasure you can get from it. When you say, “It is my dominant intent to look for things that feel good today. No matter where I’m going, no matter what I’m doing, no matter who I’m doing it with, it is my dominant intent to look for what I’m wanting to see, to look for things that feel good,” and the more you develop the habit of that kind of vibration — the more the Universe understands that that’s who you are! And so, the more you have access only to those kinds of things!

All Is Well

I came across a wonderful exercise in the Abelist this morning. Many, many people joined in and were posting thier lists of things that they love and I thought I would post my list here. Please feel free to join in with your own lists of what you love  and watch your mood elevate to a higher vibration.

10 Things I Love…

1) I love my three amazing children that never cease to amaze me with their brilliance and love of life. They live each day looking for the fun in everything. They have so much to teach me and I so appreciate it all.

2) I love my husband who helps me everyday grow and understand myself better. I love his quick wit and his loving ways. I love the way he tries his hardest to be the best dad that he can.

3) I love living in North Carolina. The weather is brilliant and I love the area we live in.

4) I love having the hawks and bluebirds flocking around my yard. Usually at different times though!

5) I love the fact that we are self employed. I love knowing that the work that I do has helped create something that continues to grow and blossom.

6) I love how much I have grown and changed through the years. Life really is good due to everything that I have experience.

7) I love being able to listen to my Abraham cds back and forth to work. They never fail to talk about something that I can immediately put into practice. I have finally reached a place where I feel like I “get it!”

8) I love knowing that I am able to create my life. *I* have full control of it ALL. That’s HUGE and oh so very liberating for me! ( How appropriate that the number 8 of this line got turned into the cool smilie! Very fitting for this “I Love…” )

9) I love the vastness of the internet and how it can bring people together, friends old and new. It never ceases to amaze me. I so appreciate the people to stumble upon our internet business sites and stay with us through the years. We do so love our customers!

10) I love me. It has taken quite a while to come to this conclusion. I love that source sees me with loving eyes and that I am finally able to see that in myself too. I am loveable and I am love. I love that I get the opportunity to remember this everyday and am able to share that love with those around me.

Thanks for the post. You bring up a great point. In order to bring about what you want, you need to not only “think good” but “feel good” as well. If you can build up the momentum of happiness and gratitude, the universe will help keep it rolling along

    My List

    1) I love being in North Carolina. I can spend hours just looking at the sky!

    2) I love being with Patricia. The way she stimulates my growth is amazing.

    3) I love my job and co-workers. I have never felt so much a part of something as I do at work.

    4) I love my journey. Each day I learn more about myself and more tools to help me.

    5) I love the Gayatri Mantra. I have just “discovered” this but it has become my favorite chant.

    6) I love my cats. One may be gone now but they still teach me lessons, such as making time to go outside every day and look at the world around me.

    7) I love the animals in my yard. Cardinals (my favorite) abound! as do squirrels, hawks, rabbits and even deer and hummingbirds.

    8) I love my neighbors and my neighborhood and I love the house that we live in.

    9) I love myself. Looking back over old pictures which I recently used to make a slideshow of my life made me realize how beautiful I always was and what a great life experience I had.

    10) I love living my life with no restrictions (self-imposed or otherwise). Being in control and feeling in control is just awesome as is being responsible for my own reality. Victor, not victim.
