Karen Williams had a really cool idea that she blogged about in It’s Time to Transform Your Life. I WANT A WATCH LIKE THAT!
I did some googling to see if someone was already marketing a watch like that. I didn’t find anything… yet (but know I will eventually!) but did come across a really cool site called 68 Second Videos.
Within 17 seconds of focusing on something, a matching vibration becomes activated. And now, as that focus becomes stronger and the vibration becomes clearer, the Law of Attraction will bring to you more thoughts that match. At this point, the vibration will not have much attraction power, but if you maintain your focus longer, the power of the vibration will become further-reaching. And if you manage to stay purely focused upon any thought for as little as 68 seconds, the vibration is powerful enough that its manifestation begins.
Ask and It Is Given pg 109
So just spending 68 seconds can make a dramatic difference in how and what things manifest in our lives. I know I haven’t been actively focusing on what it is I want lately and if I do, it’s definitely not for that long.
We encourage you to play with spending 17 seconds on any topic. If you hold any thought, positive or negative, wanted or not wanted, if you hold a thought purely for 17 seconds, that at the 17 second point, another thought just like it joins it. And as these two thoughts coalesce, there is a combustion. And as these two thoughts combust, they are parlayed into one more evolved, faster vibrating thought. And when it happens, you feel it. It feels like heightened interest or enthusiasm. If you hold that, now more evolved, thought for another 17 seconds, then when you cross that 34 second mark, the same thing happens. Another thought like the more evolved thought now joins it, and there’s another combustion point. Only this time, it moves much further than it did the first time, because the two thoughts that combined were bigger to begin with. Purely hold a thought for 17 seconds until it combusts and another thought joins it, and the Energy in that combustion is equivalent to 2,000 action hours. If you work a normal 40 hour a week job, that’s about what you work in a year. 17 seconds of pure thought, allowing the combustion, gives you that much Energy. Your action is not very important by comparison. Cross the 34 second mark, and you can multiply your action by ten. That’s 20,000 action hours. Cross the 51 second mark, and you can multiply by ten again. That’s 200,000 action hours. If you can hold a thought, purely, without contradicting it, until you cross the 68 second mark — that’s just four times 17 — you can multiply by ten again. That’s over 2,000,000 action hour equivalent. We’re talking about accessing the Energy that Creates worlds. And the reason that it is not fathomable to most of you is that most of you don’t make it past the eight second mark without contradicting your desire.
To simplify it:
17 seconds is worth 2,000 manhours (or about 1 year of action…)
34 seconds is worth 20,000 manhours (or about 10 years of action…)
51 seconds is worth 200,000 manhours (or about 100 years of action…)
68 seconds is worth 2,000,000 manhours (or about 1000 years of action…)
WOW!
And the reason that it is not fathomable to most of you is that most of you don’t make it past the eight second mark without contradicting your desire. I guess I have been definitely falling into the “8 seconds and less of pure positive thought” group. Definitely something I need to work on and will make a concerted effort to do so.
The videos on 68 Seconds can help! There are several there about money and relationships. There is also a template one that is just counting down the 68 seconds. All of them will let you focus in a more positive way so why not give it a try?!
I was surfing around on my blog reads and saw the quote on Simply Blessed and thought it was very appropriate for me to remember! It helps to redirect the thoughts that aren’t focused on what I want and gives me a break at the same time
We don’t want you to ask for the security that comes from physical promises from physical humans.
We want your security to come to you from your knowing. We want your awareness of security to be that you know the laws of the universe work, you know how to focus, you know that this positive focus that you offer will always bring you good things.
Don’t try to see so far down the road. Just see what is, and look for the good things, don’t demand that promises be made that give you security.
This is the thing that makes the difference between someone who can stand where they are, in an attitude of belief and trust, some call it faith, but some don’t like the word faith, because faith feels like be happy even though you have no evidence of being happy.
We want you to acknowledge to yourself that you have much evidence that supports the power of positive thought.
So just chill out.
Don’t try to figure it all out at once. The mantra we want you to offer over the next few days is:
“I’ll figure it out as I go”…
“Look how well I’m doing”…
“The Universe adores me”…
“The Universe is yielding to me”…
“There is not a reason for me to worry”…
“When I worry it’s patterns of old thought
that has nothing to do with my current reality.”You’re doing extremely well!

Some of the questions require more than one choice - pay attention!
So how did you do? ![]()
This process is best used when you are between 1. Joy / Appreciation / Empowered / Freedom / Love and 5. Optimism .
The Creative Workshop is best used when you want to focus on something that is important to you and want to focus on it in a way that is more positive. In doing so, you will help boost your dominate vibration to a more positive, powerful one. If you are not in a happy place, this is probably not the process for you.
Here’s an example of how to create your “creative workshop”.
Abraham suggests that you sit and write out your thoughts as it helps you become more focused.
Get 4 pieces of paper. At the top of the first page write “My Body.”
Under that title, write a short list of what you would like to have regarding your body, like
I want to return to my ideal body weight. I want to get a great haircut. I want to find some wonderful new clothes. I want to feel strong and fit.
P 156 AaIIG.
Then, happily daydream about WHY you would like these things and write your “because” statements under your want list. This focused writing will help you activate the energy around the things in your life that you deal with on a daily basis. You will be come more clear about what you are wanting and focusing, positively, on the desire.
You might stumble a little if you come across some issues that are a little touchy. In my opinion, as Abraham doesn’t endorse any outside therapy, this is a perfect time to start tapping away. The weight issue has always been an “issue” for me and tapping on my fears of losing weight or the fear of failure to lose weight was always an undercurrent. Using EFT to soften the resistance to these issues has been an immense help.
Once you have done your reasons for wanting what you want, contemplate it a little. Daydream about the fabulous body you have created and how wonderful you look and feel. That positive boost has shifted your vibration well into the right direction to allow those things to come into your experience.
On the remaining papers, but the heading of My Home, My Relationships and My Work. Repeat the steps that you have done above with each of these issues. If you have a difficult time coming up with a list of things you want, you can skip on to the next sheet.
Abraham gives quite a nice list of examples in the book between pages 155-165.
This relaxed and simple process will cause an increased activation of the things that matter most to you, and you will immediately begin to see evidence of increased activity in circumstances and events that are associated with these topics.
Pg 161 AaIIG
Abraham suggests that you do the creative workshop once a day for about 15 minutes. You should only do this process if you are in a good mood and able to look forward to what you want with the expectation that it will be coming you way.
The positive focusing, as done in this process, will open the door to allow these things to flow into your experience.

In the book, Ask and It Is Given (AaIIG), Abraham shares 22 processes that will help you get into alignment. The processes will help you move to better feeling thoughts about circumstances in your life, which in turn, will help you manifest the things / circumstances that you desire. In the posts to follow, over time, I will explain the processes. I am not going to do them in numerical order but in a fashion that suits my whim.
You will find that most are actually VERY easy to do and you will feel relief from the way you were previously focusing.
The processes are created to work with the Emotional Guidance Scale. In the book, you will find that there is a recommended range on the Emotional Guidance Scale that will work best with the process. I have condensed this into an excel spread sheet that you can download.
processes.xls
(right click -> save as… if you want to save a copy)
You can use the scroll bar on the spreadsheet to move your emotion to the top of the list so you can easily view the corresponding processes that will be helpful to you.
Do I Have To Do ALL The Associated Processes?
You can if you want to, but it isn’t necessary. The goal of the processes is to help you move to a better feeling emotion. You can do that with a single process. Though, if it feels good to do them all, then by all means do so. It will just get you flowing in the right direction and raise your vibration.
