Just a really quick post…

I have been meaning to post this because of the LOAness of it all :)

I have been listening to the CD that came with the Vortex book, over and over again. Just something about how it ALL seems to talk to me, keeps me coming back to it. Any contrast that you experience puts the new, improved situation, person, place or thing into your Vortex. You build an amazing reality and once you get lined up with it, you will start seeing the improved situations in your physical experience.

On my way home from work yesterday, I took a pit stop to get a soda. There was a pickup in front of me that had it’s website on the tailgate – Vortex Construction! Gotta love Law of Attraction

The Vortex – Abraham-Hicks Video

An excerpt from the DVD: “The Vortex: Where Law of Attraction Assembles All Cooperative Relationships” – a companion to the new book of the same name. Here Abraham – Non-Physical Source Energy as translated by Esther Hicks – explains their concept of The Vortex, and illustrates how it can help you get whatever it is that you may be wanting.

Recorded in a March 2009 Abraham-Hicks Law of Attraction Workshop.

The Universe Can Deliver It

If you have the ability to desire it, the Universe has the ability to deliver it. You’ve just got to line up with what you want, which means—be as happy as you can be as often as you can be there, and let everything else take care of itself.

What’s Your BHAG?

I went to a meetup group for the Triangle Women’s Connection last week and the topic was on goal setting, as it was the first meeting of the new year.

I have been “planning” on attending the group for months, but I always found a reason not to go. This time, I decided that there should be no more excuses and actually got out there and did it! (Yeah me!)

So, what is a BHAG, you ask? A BHAG is a Big, Hairy, Audacious Goal!

The presentation by Leslie Flowers was actually very good. She covered three basic rules for choosing a goal for yourself.

1) It should be so big that it excites you.
2) It should be so big that is scares you.
3) You don’t know how to do everything to achieve it.

The process of setting your goal also required that you not fall into some common pitfalls:

1) You shouldn’t set your goals based on what you have been able to accomplish in the past.

For example, if you are making $40,000 a year, a goal of making $50,000 is not one that will challenge you. You could conceivably figure out how to make an additional $10,000 a year on your own.

2) Worrying about the HOW the goal will be met.

Being the control freaks that we are, we like having some sense of control. If we have a bit of the how worked out, we are good to go. Some of the biggest and best goals are the ones that you have no idea how they are going to come into fruition. It becomes a case of stop, look and listen for the guidance that is always there and leading you toward your ulitmate joy filled goals. When you are planning the path to rigorously, you could very well overlook the little voice that leads you on a slightly different path, a different path that could mean the difference of something being good and something being beyond your wildest dreams.

3) Wondering if you are worthy of your goal.

I really like the way Leslie put in it in the handout so I am going to quote her here: “It’s about if it’s worthy of you as you trade your life in pursuing it. It has to be BIG to be worthy of you.” Ultimately it comes down to understanding that your are worthy of your wildest extraordinary dreams.

The women in the group shared some pretty enormous goals. I kind of sat off to the side and tried to think about what my goal would be, if I had a goal. It was a really odd feeling to me. This was sort of a business networking meeting, but where business is concerned, I am good to go. I KNOW that when we are ready to move and increase business, that I can do what needs to be done in order to make it happen.

I guess goals come in many arenas: work, love, money, spiritual, health and many more, I am sure.

Sure, I had goals in most of those areas, but I couldn’t really find anything that fit the big three criteria for the BHAG. Most of the stuff I was considering, I knew how to achieve it or was actually already in the process of achieving it.

I decided to go home and think on it to see what I could come up with as the next meeting, in February, we are to bring our BHAG to the group to share. LOL Talk about pressure!!

Okay, so anyone care to share their BHAG?? Mine will be in another post! :)
