The Time Is Now

Ah yes, I have been quiet. I have chosen not to write about where I have been because the feelings I have been having about everything have been less than good. Yes, they are there, and yes, I did wallow in them for a while. I just couldn’t put fingers to keyboard and write it all down. I KNOW that saying how things *are* is not going to get me to where I want to be.

I have been working on getting to a better feeling place. I am getting there, slowly but surely. I have made the choice to feel good now and get to a better feeling place now. Now is really all I have so why waste what could be happier times wallowing in what is happening in my current now. As Abraham says, now is temporary and not set in stone. Your tomorrow’s now will be molded by how you are focusing today. More positive, hopeful focusing today, will create a better tomorrow.

Yes, I’ll take some of that please :)

I just have to do the work to make it happen. It is oh so easy to fall back into those ingrained negative patterns of thinking. Counseling and EFT are helping with that aspect.

Abraham-Hicks CD 10/9/04 A - Tarrytown, NY -
Feel Good Now, It’s Important

All of your power is now. Now!

This is your point of attraction. Now.

Do you know, that here you are and everything is actualizing around you now. So here you are in your now, and everything is actualizing around your now, so you future experience that you are going to walk into is actually lining up in response to your vibrational output now. Interesting, isn’t it?

So as you’re onery and upset, or in despair, your future experience is lining up in response to that, right now.

So you say, “I have good reason!” and we say “Who cares?”

“But I have good reason to feel this way!” We say, “It doesn’t matter you are still messing up your future experience.”

“But Abraham, I know I’m right. This is the way it is. I’m only speaking the truth.” We say “We know, and your future is going to be full of it. Your future is going to be full of more of this truth that you are feeling uncomforable about now.”

So get the picture of this. So here you are in your now. Your now which is attracting to you all things. The now, which is your point of attraction. And you’re attracting to you now, you’re attracting to you tomorrow, you are attracting to you a week from now, you are attracting to you a month from now. If you could see the vortex of things that are lining up for you in response to your now emitting.

So, all your power is now. Think about what you’re doing to tomorrow when you feel good now. Think about what you are doing the day after tomorrow while you are feeling good now. Can you imagine the resources that you allow to line up, when you take the the time to feel good now? When you get in synch with well-being now, you see. All of your power is now. It doesn’t matter if you are thinking about the past or the future, or observing something in your now, you’re doing it now. You’re emmanating now. You’re radiating now. You’re creating NOW.

Tomorrow never comes. Have you noticed? Because when it gets here, it’s today. All of your power is NOW. So, you’ve just gotta decide that you’re gonna do the best that you can now to feel good and stop making excuses about why you don’t feel good now by charting all the statistics of the reasons why you are justified in not feeling good. Who cares?! It doesn’t matter! You’re right, you should feel bad, but feeling bad only makes tomorrow worse. You’ve gotta feel good now. You’ve got to make up your mind that nothing is more important than how I feel now because now is everything. Now is the whole enchilada. Now is the power of me. Now, now, now, now, now, now, now, now. And if I practice, now, feeling good, there is a better chance that tomorrow I’m gonna feel good too. You might as well start somewhere, and it might as well be now.

Now why not start improving your life now, now, now.

I am determine to create a more positive tomorrow. For the next 20 days, I am going to do a daily appreciation on my blog and spend at least 30 minutes a day meditating. I feel that these two things will help me create a much more positive tomorrow. Any takers out there? Care to join me in 20 Days of Appreciation?

Ah, how appropriate. :) I am catching up on my perpetual flip calendar and this was the entry for September 3rd.

With an understanding of the Laws of the Universe and some willingness to deliberately choose thoughts, you can, in time, replace all hindering beliefs with life-giving beliefs; but there is a process that can give you the immediate benefit of chaning your beliefs, in a much shorter time — we call this the Process of Meditation.

And September 4th:

The Process of Meditation is not one where you work on your desires, but, instead, this is one of quieting your mind. As you do so, any resistance will subside; and your state of vibration will rise to its natural, pure state.

And finally, tomorrow’s quote:

If we were in your physical shoes, we would site quietly, by ourselves, in some pleasant place where we would not be interrupted - maybe under a tree, mabye in our vehicle, maybe in the bathroom or garden - and we would utilize 10 or 15 minutes, and not much more time than that, to quite our mind in meditation.

Okay, okay, I’ve taken the hint :) 15 minutes a day for the next 20 days. I can do that! Actually, I am a member of Meditainment and they have music tracks that run that 10 to 15 minute mark that would be perfect! They also have guided meditations that run about 20 minutes. If anyone is interested, I have some freebies I can give away for joining. I can let 25 people each have one of the mediations that they offer on the site. Just reply below with your email address and the track you are interested in and I will send a share to you. :)

Let’s Play Tag! - Vibration Raising Fun

As I was surfing around this morning and came across Cardin’s post at OptimistLab about her High Vibes Game. I thought it was pretty cool and had that page up in a browser window for most of the morning intending to read up more about it. :) And wouldn’t you know it, she comes along and tags me to play.

So here it goes, my top 5 vibration raising activities. These are the things I do to stay positive, happy, and motivated.

1) Listen to Abraham-Hicks on a daily basis.
While they may not be for everyone, I find that their teachings help me look at things with a more positive perspective. They help me kick my vibration up a notch or two.

2) Daily meditation.
I have invested in the Holosync program (the easy way to meditate) and have found that it is a wonderful way of starting out my morning. :) All I need to do is sit in my comfy chair and put my head phones on and off I go. It helps me start off the day nice and calm and positively. I find that my day goes so well. My interactions are smoother, my intuition is sharper, and everything just goes so well. One morning this week, I decided that I would sleep in instead of getting up at 4:30am to listen before my family got up. Well, that wasn’t too good of a day. By the end of the day, I was extremely tired and cranky.

3) Exercise.
This is something new to me. I guess I used to be what could be termed as a computer / desk potato. The extent of my exercise was to climb the stairs in the house. Since I started meditating, I have found myself to be more motivated. I have joined a gym and have a personal trainer now. I have exercised more in the last two weeks than I have in the last 6 months. After the intial tiredness, I find that I feel much more energized and ready and willing to face what comes my way. I think it helps me burn off any of the stress that I am carrying around with me. Much better to burn it off then to lay it on someone else when you interact. :) I think my family would agree!

4) Appreciation Lists

When I do my appreciation lists, it is amazing to me how my vibrations rise and stay that way. When I focus on the things in my life that are working and are wonderful and appreciate them, I find that I see more and more things to appreciate. It feels SO good. :) It is amazing how it can make you totally change your vibe about something by actively LOOKING for things about the situation to appreciate.

5) Doing Things That I Enjoy
That one seems like a no brainer, but think about it, how often do you do things that you HAVE to do? Most of us spend a good part of our days doing the “have to’s” and not enough time doing the “want to’s”. I love being outdoors listening to and watching nature. I love hearing the birds singing and seeing the hawks soaring. That will lift my vibes everytime. I love watching my family from afar. I love seeing how they interact. I created that. I created everything in my life and I so appreciate it all. ( :D Sometimes more than others but in the end, it is all fantastic.)

Okay, now time to tag some fantastic bloggers :)

I got into Abraham’s HOT seat!!

What an absolutely phenomenal day!! I don’t know where to even start :D It has been a long day and I have just got home after a 4 hour drive, but I HAVE to tell anyone that will listen that I did get into the hot seat!! Wahooooo :)

I went to the Abraham-Hicks Workshop in Asheville with the intention that I would get into the hot seat to ask a question that I had all planned out.

I knew that Abraham looks for the vibration of the people in the audience that are the most clear and vibrant and I was determined to get into that place.

I started out this morning by getting up a bit earlier than I normally would have and had a shower and then meditated for about 40 minutes. ( I did the easy meditation where you put on head phones and just drift away - I was using Insight and also have Holosync, which is also good.) I figured that would be a good start to getting me into the place that I needed to be in, in order to get “seen”.

I was running right on time in order to get to Biltmore for the 7:30 check in (workshop started at 9:00). I took it as a good sign that there was a huge, and I mean HUGE, picture of the face of an owl looking at me when I entered the elevator to check out. :) Anyone familiar with the Sara books by Esther Hicks will know that the Abrahamish entity in the books is an owl named Solomon.

I got all checked in and settled in my seat. I picked the perfect place to sit. I could see Esther perfectly and the video screen as well. No fluffy hair or tall people blocked my view :) A while back, I made a mind movie and saved it to my mp3 player. While I was sitting there, I plugged myself into the mp3 player and watched and listened to my movie. That really cranked up my vibe. :) Not getting called on didn’t even cross my mind. I KNEW I would get a chance to ask my question. I watched the video many times before Abraham picked the perfect time to call me to the chair. What followed was a whirlwind in my mind, but I will make that another post as it is late, and I am all tuckered out.

BUT YEA! I DID IT, I DID IT, I DID IT! I had a clear intention and took the inspired action to get me into a place where I needed to be. I felt so empowered walking up to that chair. I think there were a max of 10 to 15 people called forward out of, my guess is, about 200+ people :)

Quick and Easy Meditations

I have finally found meditations that I can do in 20 minutes or less :) With three kids under foot, finding time to meditate is no easy feat for me.

There is a company located out of England called Meditainment that has downloadable (mp3) guided meditations that are really good. Now that I have finally figured out how to effectively use my mp3 player that I got for Christmas last year, I have been able to download all of the meditations that interest me and do a shuffle of the playlist and allow the universe to come up with the one meditation that is best for me. :)

I had a nice paddle down a river to a quiet field this afternoon… AH it was VERY relaxing.

I haven’t personally tried the “Secret Garden” guided meditation, but you can download it for free by clicking on the graphic below.

As a subscriber to the service, I can share 6 meditations with my friends. If you would like to try another meditation from this site, let me know your email address and which meditation you are interested in and I will send you an invite. Sorry, only one freebie per person :)
