I made a bit of an awesome discovery this past week. I was getting aggrevated by the fact that I couldn’t get my husband to do something that really meant a lot to me. I wanted him to read a small chapter in a book called The Five Love Languages: How to Express Heartfelt Commitment to Your Mate. We had recently had a converstion where we both were feeling the same exact way which was surprising. I love my husband but evidentally I wasn’t letting him know in a way that he could understand. It was really frustrating to me. I don’t recall how I came across this book but it really opened my eyes as to how different our languages of love were. I was definitely a specific language and I wanted him to read that so he had a better idea.
He left the book on the table for quite a while and didn’t attempt to read it. This just stirred up childhood issues. I realized that as it was happening and took steps to deal with it. I decided that I needed a break and went to meditate using my Immrama meditation CD. Twenty four minutes later, I felt much better. I went back downstairs and did some work. Unfortunately, I wandered into the room where the book was laying on the table and felt the grouch meter increase. I grouched around for a bit and then to go back upstairs and meditate again.
For some reason, as I relaxed into the rain sounds of the meditation, I decided to try surrogate tapping on myself while the meditation was playing. I spent about 5 minutes out of 24 tapping on my issues. I knew what was bugging me so I just “tapped” on them with my mind. I found that the words just came to me. I used to have issues with finding the right words to deal with my feelings. For some reason, the meditation helped me open the blockades and deal easily with the issues. After the meditation was over I felt SO much better. The funny thing is after I was able to really let go of the grouch in me, my husband did take the book and read the part that I wanted him to! I stopped pushing against and it happened. But had he not done that, I think I would have still been okay with it all.
I really like the way the two fit together for me. I have used it several other times and felt so good after the fact. It is really easy to learn eft. You can go and download a free manual that gives you the basics of it all. I have the DVDs that they offer and find that they are really helpful in seeing how it all plays out in practice.
You can see an introductory video of it at EmoFree.com
The short synopsis first.
I made it to the hot seat again! WOO HOOO! It was a great experience for sure!
Abraham answered the questions I had this time around because my vibration was lined up with what my questions were. Last time, I had a question about childhood programming, but that is not what Abraham honed in on.
This time, I sorta focused on that same issue in a different way. The issue of childhood programming has been something I had stuck in my craw. I have had some “hard to let go of” beliefs that stem from my childhood. I don’t want that for my kids.
I want them to be who they are meant to be from the start without me screwing them up with my issues and then having to do all the work when they are almost 40 to get back into alignment. I am hoping to help them learn that being happy is the most important thing and that they are loved. Not just by their dad and I, but by the whole universe. If I can help them stay the way they are meant to be, OH the amazingly fun and love filled future they will have!
I had my question printed out and was holding it the whole time of the workshop. I was beginning to doubt my ability to manifest this as the workshop wore on. I had to keep pulling myself back to focusing on what it is I wanted and it paid off. Abraham called on me as the 2nd to last hot seater. I didn’t ask all my questions but the ones I did ask, I got full detailed answers with parenting How-To’s! Oh, it was so wonderful. Sometimes I feel like I am not doing a very good job with my kids just because I don’t know how to communicate in a fashion that they will be able to understand.
In the recent CDs, you are talking about the manifestations being just an indication of where your vibrations are. I fully understand that for myself as I have seen that in action, but how do you help your children when they are manifesting things that are really unwanted.
For example, my dear daughter was playing and fell and dislocated and broke her elbow. How to I help her through that and find a better feeling place? How could I have helped her best when we were in the emergency room and she was really scared? How do I help her understand that the manifestation is just an indicator of how she has been feeling?
What about my littlest who was joyously romping through rain water puddles in a trench in our front yard and who was attacked by some really mad fire ants? It is an indication of vibration, but how do you address the issue with them on a level that they can understand.
Abraham gave me details as to how to help them “get” that how you are feeling will play out in your exprience. The big thing that I remember is that *I* have to show them how it is done. I need to verbalize constantly what I know about vibrations and the manifestations. Abraham also walked through both of these issues with me and helped me figure out what vibrations were behind the manifestations.

Can you, as a parent, inspire wellness in your children? My children seem to be coming home with all sorts of illnesses.
I didn’t ask this one, as it was basically answered by another person’s question from earlier in the day.

In my family, I am understanding the Law of Attraction, the stream and my children’s right to be in their own boat. My husband, while mellowed out considerably, is a bit more “tow the line because I think this is what needs to be done”
I am looking for some practical Abraham parenting advice here:
1) My daughter’s room is a mess. I don’t have a problem with it, but my husband does. My husband enforces clean it up now or you don’t get the opportunity to do something she would rather be doing. Daughter gets pretty mad about it all. What can I say or do to help her get to a better feeling place?
This one was pretty cool and told me that it wasn’t my job and gave me some tips about how to help her not rendevous with dad on the same vibration. If she could be in a better place, she wouldn’t run in with dad. In order for a run in to happen, they must be on the same vibrational wavelength.
Abraham made the comparision of Dad as a fire ant which I was tickled about and I am sure Jen will be too when she hears it!
I KNOW there are some absolutely amazing things from that workshop. Things that Abraham has never said before. There was a section where a hotseater was talking about his car and a carwash that didn’t go as he wanted and it definitely had Abraham determined to get Esther to make a wonderful new connection. At the end of the workshop, everyone around me was WOWing as Abraham finished their parting words.
Some other things I remember Abraham talking about are:
* The difference between appreciation and gratitude.
* Changing your focus on contrast via a hotseater who is a photographer - going close in like a micro lens and trying to change the vibe, if that is not possible, looking at something else up close, and if that still doesn’t net something to feel good, zooming out and looking at the broader picture.
* That we are all healers and what exactly healing is.
* Quite a bit of discussion on croaking.
* Focusing on wellness in the face of “dis-ease”.
* Mental Illness
* Appreciation of where you are as a way to allow vibrational escrow to flow what is there to you.
When I get the CD, I will be sure to share more details
I so appreciate Abraham!

So here I sit, in a hotel in Asheville, waiting for the Abraham workshop tomorrow. I fully intend on getting in the hot seat this time as well. I have been formulating my question in my mind for a couple of days and this is my opportunity to get very clear on what I want to ask.
I received an email from James Ray yesterday that said something that really spoke to me:
Unbending belief and unshakable faith are the essential elements in bringing your vision into physical reality. All great achievers have an absolute belief that their visions will manifest. They know without any doubt that their dreams will come to them.
It is with that knowing that I write my question here
Thank you so much for seeing me Abraham
I would like to know how to be a parent who doesn’t squash my children’s natural guidance. My wish for them is to be connected from the start and not let me or anyone guide their boat for them. I know you say that the children would be so much better off if we would just let them be, but it doesn’t appear that is actually possible, at least until they are a little older.
In the recent CDs, you are talking about the manifestations being just an indication of where your vibrations are. I fully understand that for myself as I have seen that in action, but how do you help your children when they are manifesting things that are really unwanted.

2) My middle son is probably the most connected out of us all and knows what he wants and doesn’t try to please. I totally respect that in him and I know he will go far in life and be happy with what he creates. Having said that, there are times when that “I want it my way” really throws a wrench in outings we plan. For example, how should I deal with a situation where he is throwing a fit just as we are trying to go out the door to dinner?
Ahh, I think that is pretty much what I want to ask. I am really looking forward to Abraham’s answers.
My vibe raising routine will be just about the same as last time but I will have CAnn’s wonderful YouTube video to watch as well. I planning on getting up early and meditating, hitting Kinkos so I can print this out and getting to the Biltmore Inn in plenty of time. This time, I am planning on sitting up closer on an aisle seat so it is easier for me to get to the hot seat
I will let you all know how it goes!
As I was leafing through my mail at work, I happened upon a catalog from Domestications.com. I usually trash them as I have no idea why they are being sent to work but for some reason I decided to open it up. Imagine my delight when I opened to a page that was advertising “Big Money” products.
Comforters, rugs, pillows - Oh MY! What a fun way to raise your money vibration. Imagine having all the money you wanted and being able to sleep amidst it all!

Everyone knows that meditation is a great tool to come into alignment and quiet your mind. It is one of those processes that Abraham highly recommends in order to allow you to come into a state of allowing. We spend quite a bit of time in a state of resistance which does not allow what we have in our vibrational escrows to come into being.
September 8 - Ask and It Is Given - Perpetual Flip Calendar
Meditation is a state of allowing, where, for just a few moments, you stop trying to make anything happen. It is a time when you are saying to your Source Energy, to your Inner Being, to your God (or whatever you want to call it): Here I am, in a state of allowing Source Energy to flow purely through me. Fifteen minutes of effort will change your life. It will allow the Energy that is natural to you to flow; you will feel better in the moment, and you will feel more energized when you come out of it.
If you have a busy life, you are likely to find excuses, left and right, as to why you just don’t have time to meditate. I have tried several meditation programs online and each has it’s benefits.
The one I am currently using and loving is from Immrama.org. I am using the Insight CD (though I have both the Insight and Focus) and can definitely find 24 minutes a day. I have always loved watching and listening to the rain so this meditation program is especially relaxing to me. I find that I am very relaxed and refreshed when the 24 minutes is over.

The audio technology, embedded on an audio CD beneath the soothing sounds of natural rain, works to guide you into profoundly deep states of relaxation, meditation, and awareness.
Not all brainwave products are dedicated to helping you achieve long-term personal growth and improvement. Many products offer temporary effects, but do not help the listener achieve long-term benefits and results. The Insight CD is designed to help you improve your mental and emotional well-being for long-term results.
While it would take years, possibly decades, of training to achieve these positive results through traditional meditation techniques or other personal growth programs, our listeners are experiencing the same results and more in an incredibly accelerated timeframe. Our audio technology will assist you in reaching levels of consciousness as deep and often deeper than those reached by experienced meditators, Zen monks, and Yogis who have been practicing meditation for years.
If you like guided meditations, you can give Meditainment a shot. They have a nice collection of guided meditations in mp3 format. It is great for those out there who like the instant gratification of having the meditation NOW
You can join and download all the meditations in the member area. I have been a member for 2 years and do listen to the meditations every so often when I want to be guided through the experience. They are constantly updated their catalog and adding new, member suggested, meditations. They have a many meditations which are situation specific and run about 20 minutes in length.
A few of the topics covered include:
Depression
Thinking Positively
Money Worries
Self Confidence
Self Esteem
Many Relaxation Programs
Stress Relief
If you visit their site, you can get a free mp3 download of the Secret Garden so you can see what their programs are like.
I tried Centerpointe and, while it is a great program, it is costly and requires an hour a day. I did that for a while, but family, work and kids got in the way of uninterrupted meditation time on a regular basis.
I find that meditation helps me stay more on track. It helps me deal with the stressors of daily life in a more positive way. I like that and so does my family!
